God was my rescue!
Hi, I'm Jennifer Skaw.
In 2013, during a suicidal depression, I was diagnosed with bipolar II.
My life was on the line.
After trying for 22 months to take psychiatric medication but being allergic to them all, I had to stop, but was still suicidal.Â
It was at this perilous time God taught me I had the power to choose which thoughts I wanted to dominate in my mind.Â
This was not a cure, but as the weeks went by, I became more stable and less in danger, one thought at a time.
I still have bipolar, but I now have more control of my mind than I ever thought possible.
With that control came a new lifestyle of unwavering faith, a more consistent Christ-like mind, and a beautiful, best-friend relationship with God.Â
I have a passion to equip and encourage women to claim and apply the power they have through Christ to choose an amazing life that is not dependent on their thoughts, emotions, other people, or the circumstances around them.
I teach of the power that comes from basing our lives on God's promises, and based on our God-given power to choose, so we can live, love, and be loved in the way Christ intended.
My songs and teaching come from places that God and I have journeyed through together. Places of joy, places of pain, places of loss, places of hope.Â
The result is vulnerable, honest Christian music and teaching that helps connect our messy lives with the God who loves us. ♥️
God doesn’t ask us to pretend messiness and brokenness don’t exist. He asks us to acknowledge them, invite Him in to them, and leave the burden at His feet.
Then He picks it up and carries it as He walks beside us, providing comfort, wisdom, unconditional love, direction, companionship, hope.Â

My motive
I desire the fruit of my ministry and music to result in you being compelled to relentlessly pursue the beautiful relationship with God that Jesus died for you to have regardless of
messy circumstances,
messy mental health, or
messy relationships.Â
My desire is for you to experience your own intimate, personal relationship with God so that you come to rest in the truth that God truly is enough. ♥️
