The most important benefit you can receive from this website is knowing Jesus as your Savior.

Please allow me to introduce you to Him, and tell you about the beautiful relationship He offers to all who will trust Him.

Jesus, although the Son of God, came to this earth as a servant, to restore the relationship that had been broken between God and mankind.

Our sin is what has caused this broken fellowship, creating a barrier between us and God.

Our sin has a price. The Bible says

“…the wages of sin is death;”
Romans 6:23a

To us, our sinful condition may not seem serious.

We may even believe our sin is balanced by the good we do.

But to a holy God, our sin is offensive and must be judged.  God is

“. . . of purer eyes than to behold evil,
and canst not look on iniquity:”
Habakkuk 1:13a

Despite any good we do, our sin remains like a stain, and continues to separate us from God.

This is where Jesus intervenes on our behalf.

Our stain of sin can be washed away by the shed blood from Jesus’ death on the cross. God says,

“In whom we have redemption through his blood,
even the forgiveness of sins:”
Colossians 1:14

He gave His life to bring us freedom from the price of sin. Jesus

“. . . hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered
with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many,”
Isaiah 53:12b

Jesus knew that we could never pay our own debt.

The Bible teaches that getting to heaven is

“…not of yourselves:”
Ephesians 2:8b

This means we cannot earn or work our way to heaven.

If we could get to heaven ourselves, Jesus would not have died a grueling death on the cross.
It would not have been necessary.

Jesus knew the price could only be paid by One who had no sin, by One who owed no debt.

Jesus is the only one who could fit that description.

Jesus sacrificed His life to pay our price.

“…he was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities…
…and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
Isaiah 53:5a, 6b

Jesus did this willingly.

He paid all the cost for our freedom from sin.

With this price paid, He provided a way for mankind to fellowship with God.

“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins,
the just for the unjust,
that he might bring us to God,”
I Peter 3:18a

To complete the work He came to do, Jesus rose from the grave after being buried three days, conquering death.

He is a Savior that is alive and can help us.

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory
through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
I Corinthians 15:57

Although Jesus paid this price for all mankind, God has left the choice to accept His Son up to each individual.

“. . . as many as received him, to them gave He power
to become the sons of God,”
John 1:12a

It is a free gift from God when you simply ask Him for it.  God says,

…the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” and
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Romans 6:23b, Romans 10:13

Perhaps the saddest verse in God’s Word is said by King Agrippa.

A man named Paul was trying to compel the king to accept the truth of Jesus.

But instead of admitting his sinfulness and choosing forgiveness, King Agrippa said,

“Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.”
Acts 26:28b

Today, that king is still paying his own debt for his sin in hell.  God says,

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life:
and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life;
but the wrath of God abideth on him.”
John 3:36

Your sins’ debt must be payed.

You can choose to pay it yourself by eternal death, or you can choose to accept Jesus’ payment for you, and have eternal life.

God promises to save you if you ask.

“The Lord is longsuffering, and of great mercy,
forgiving iniquity and transgression,”
Numbers 14:18a

You can have peace and freedom from sin this very moment.

From the beginning of eternity Jesus knew He would die for you.

He longs for you to accept the sacrifice that He made for you.

Do you agree with God that you are lost in sin?

Do you agree with God that your sins’ debt must be payed?

Do you believe God’s perfect Son died in your place, and then rose from the grave?

The gift of forgiveness becomes yours when you personally choose to put your trust in Jesus to save you.

Jesus wants you to admit your sinfulness, and admit that He is the only one who can remove your stain of sin.

Ask Jesus to forgive you.

Tell Him you want His free gift of eternal life.

If you believe these things, pause and do this now.

Did you ask Jesus to save you from your sin?

If so, then at the very moment you put your trust in Jesus, He washed away your stain of sin!  God says,

“. . . being now justified by his blood,
we shall be saved from wrath through him (Jesus).”
Romans 5:9

His perfect, sinless record now replaces your sinful record.  You have been saved!

You will still sin as you finish your walk through this life.

You will not be able to be perfect.

You are now forgiven for eternity, but God wants you to come to Him every day and talk with Him, learn of Him, and bring your sin before Him for forgiveness.

Not because you need to be saved again, but rather, to keep your relationship close with Him.

He is your heavenly Father now, and you are His child.

You are now in His care forever.

Your relationship stays sweet when you live a clean life before Him.

Your joy of being forgiven has only just begun.

There is so much more God has for you beyond saving you from your sin.

Keep seeking Him.

You will be amazed at the new life that is ahead of you!

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
II Corinthians 5:17
